Crackable joints you're pleased you don't yet crack

  • My chest joints 😄

  • I'm not sure. At one point I swore I would never crack my neck, but it's actually quite pleasant. Sternum sounds painful, but it probably isn't.

  • my left elbow. the only time it cracked was when i snapped my humerus, and because i'm a crazy little freak, i didn't rest it, and i now have arthritis in it, and when it's cold, it seizes up and i get a little t-rex arm. if i cracked it, my arm would probably fall off.

  • i never knew before coming here that you could crack your p***s lol

  • I can't crack my strenum

  • My neck or back. If I could I know I'd be hooked.

  • I can remember near-on 10 years ago. I was 17. I was in a club in the Philippines and there were masseurs at the ready touting for business. Nothing seedy or anything like that.

Anyway, this bloke, I would say 6 foot 5 and either a wrestler or boxer, started with a good "real man" massage to my back. After that, he grabbed my temples with an iron grip and sharply twisted my neck I would say at least 180 degrees. And again the other way. Any further and I would have had to wear a neck brace. But the cracking sensations I experienced with these sharp twists were things I will never forget. Very audible and sounded just like chips being thrown into hot cooking oil. But you could also feel the many tiny clicks happening simultaneously with the big clunky ones. After that, I swore I could have spun my head several times…the flexibility was indescribeable. I then tipped the man and went on my way.

Unforgettable and ever since, I've been yearing for that to happen again. My wife won't do it because she thinks I'll die of a stroke.

That is very dangerous. Like the one the chiropractors do where they put both hands on the neck and push down. One woman famously had it down, had 2 strokes one after the other and died.

Anyways, i am glad i don't crack my p***s, hips and some others

  • @DancingJester:

    What are yours?

I don't do my neck (or anything above it) or my shoulder type joints, nor hips, etc. thank g*d. I don't need anymore! 😛

i wish i didn't have to do my neck 😎

  • I guess anything that is very central in the body.

  • Top of the spine, where it meets the skull. Done it once, by accident. Ouch.

i have that in the right side of my neck/skull. even more annoyingly, it happens involuntarily! 8O
By the way, welcome to the board Requiem, i made a welcome thread for you in the introductions board 🙂

  • How did you do it - i would have been sh1te scared if it happened to me.

What the h**l IS there to crack above your neck?!

I used to do my neck, and my back all the time but my back began to hurt so I stopped that.
