Hearing the crack noise

I think I'm at the point where I can admit that I'm addicted to cracking my joints, but it's just not the same if I don't hear it, like If I'm wearing headphones and I crack my elbow, it's just not satisfying. so now I always remember to make sure not to crack my joints unless I can hear it.. It actually makes me feel worse if I don't hear them crack…

I meant it can be hard to hear cracking when the joints are underwater, like when swimming.

i know exactly what you mean, if i go though my fingers and try to pop them and i hear not a single pop i feel like "w*f why wont they crack!" and start doing it a second time all frantic. I actualy think im addicted to cracking my joints cus ill like catch myself cracking my fingers like its a natural thing.
