      About when you crack your backs

      I only crack it at school because that is where the chairs are that are the ideal for it.

      I crack my knuckles, shoulders, wrists, sometimes my elbows, the sides of my feet and my toes. I can't crack my neck or my back.

      DJ100, again I suggest that the problem is not your neck. I think I sent you a long post on this several months ago. Did that make any sense to you? I think you have a problem with obsessing. If it wasn't your neck, it'd be something else. Your neck, and the "bully," is just something for you to blame all of your fears, insecurities, and depression on. Grow up, you are not a victim. As harsh as this sounds, the constant obsessing is kind of selfish. Go help someone out, you'll feel better, I promise.

      Also, if you want to see this forum come back to life, I might try not making it all about you and your neck. It is literally the first thing I see you mention to everyone.

      yeh but if someone said about them, then it might be visual and you could see that it wasn't. Say someone had skin decolouration from a bacterial infection.

      hey! So i can crack all 3 of my joints on each finger and on my little finger i crack 4 (one is really low in the palm)

      for the ones nearest to my palm i make a fist with my fingers not curled under and use my other hand to press down on all the knuckles. if that doesn't work i push my finger back towards the back of my hand

      for the middle joint i bend my finger in a 90 degree angle and kind of squish it to make a smaller angle then it pops

      for the top going (near the nail) i put my thumb of my other hand on the pad of my finger then place my first finger and middle finger wither side of the nail on top of my first finger is over the joint… then i pinch my thumb and forefinger+middle finger together and it pops! 😄

      Nowadays, it cracks where it needs to crack. I went through a stage where twisting it to the left would crack the right side and vice versa, which is still true to some extent but nowadays it depends on which joints are locked up. That's true of up and down, as well as left and right. Some spots in my neck are more predictable (around the middle, mostly) but once in a while the base of the neck will go off and sometimes it feels as though the joint right behind my skull is "activated". I've even cracked my left jaw while making the neck-cracking twist - on most of those occasions I thought it was just another upper neck crack until I moved my jaw and felt it hinge more smoothly (if anyone out there gets what I mean…).

      How often does it need to crack? Actually I'm going to create a new thread on this to explain in more detail..

      For me, I can just put all my weight on each knee on the floor and each will crack, especially if I have been sitting for a while.

      Nope, just you. I can't figure out what your problem is. Over and over again you ask all these inane questions expecting someone else to do the work and answer them for you, instead of taking responsibility and looking it up yourself. You also keep asking how to increase membership on the forums, without taking responsibility for the fact that you've single-handedly driven most of the old members away under your various former screen names. How many are you up to now? DJ100, Bod8, neckcracker12, and I'm guessing the cleverly disguised neckcracker1234. Any more you'd care to share?

      If you've gone five years without seeing a chiro, why not just wait until you are out of school and can afford to see one? Or save up your money to see one? As far as the bully who hit you five years ago when you were 13, I think it's time to move on and past that. There's nothing you can do now.

      The second one does not provide as loud of a pop, and needs you to be sitting in a chair. The top of the chair's back needs to be about level with your middle back. I kind of compress my back against the chair whilst leaning back with my upper back. For me, the perfect chair to do this in is my seat in my Algebra I class. I do not recommend popping your back this way, and have been trying to figure a new way to pop my back.

      I can vouch for this method… I used to do the same thing back in high school, but have been sadly unable to find any good chairs for doing this since I graduated. This method has sometimes gone sour on me though: occasionally instead of cracking, it feels more like a "creak", and is quite painful. I'm also searching for a better method of cracking my upper back.

      jpad, I am a massage-a-holic and a massage therapist(MT). I have a simple technique to receive massage form your partner. Offer them one first or second. Break out the timer, i do all the time. Offer a fair trade of 15 min or whatever. I trade hours all the time, but I have a passion, not to mention education and massage table, for this. Everyone loves massage. giving it can be just as rewarding. i'm sure your partner could use a shoulder rub too, so tell him he gets one after you, and he he wants 30min so do you :lol:
      this usually works like a charm. good luck
