I'm new and with a painful problem :(

  • Hi, I found and joined this problem because I have a problem.

Oh, I enjoy cracking, pretty much everything i can, been cracking joints since I was 12, its been a good 7 years untill today :(

Lately I discovered how to pop the bone joint just above my butt, not sure if the pop is from tail bone or just the lower discs on the back.

I do it by lying down face up, crossing my legs and straightening them out.

But after cracking it as usual today, I felt a sharp aching pain in my right thigh where it connects to my hip… And its a hot ache untill I move the leg then it goes into OMFG kind of pain...

Am very worried about this, any one with similar experience?
Should I see a doctor or something? Cos I know they aren't suited to deal with this sort of stuff....

  • If you are experiencing pain, especially severe or long lasting pain, see a doctor. Your body is telling you something is not right and you need to see a professional. Be sure to explain your medical history including your joint cracking. If your doctor doesn't understand your situation ask for a referral to a specialist.

    Hope this helps.

  • Yes, you definitely should go to the doctor if it continues to hurt. I also would stop cracking that joint even if it does stop hurting.
