I crack like an old ship at sea
My knees started cracking at puberty and now that I've taken up yoga there's hardly a joint in my body that doesn't crack. At opportune moments my spine sounds like bubble wrap getting run over by a car and when I get up from sitting dormant I am serenaded by the beat-boxing of my joints.
I have been diagnosed with hyper-mobile joints, but they don't ache if I keep up the yoga and the cracking. I could probably exhibit myself as a medical curiosity because of how pronounced and loud the cracking is.
How did you go about getting diagnosed with hyper-mobile joints?
did you mention it to your doctor, or did they just say it to you?
