      interesting… yeah i thought that an x-ray would show something up. i've heard an MRi scan can help, but i dont know if that is dangerous or not..

        MRI scans require you to stay very still etc.

                  @JointCracker:

                  Numerous x-rays have been done of my joints throughout my life. None ever showed any abnormality suggesting a problem with my joints.

                  I conclude x-rays are no means to diagnose Jointcracktitis.

                  That sounds pretty conclusive - did you ever get any medical "help" for your cracking joints apart from x-rays?

                    As many people have pointed out, doctors are ignorant and themselves don't know the answer or do not classify jointcracking as a problem.

                      hhhmmmm..
                      x rays show no problems
                      ignorant doctors saying it's not a problem
                      i conclude that…..self diagnosis is not a diagnosis... and is a problem

                      neckpain man
                      neck pain is VERY common
                      every see an aspirin commercial
                      even people who don't crack their necks experience neck pain
                      I lose ROM almost every couple of months for a day or 2 from 'sleeping the wrong way'
                      Massage therapy is GREAT for neck pain

                      MFT or MFR - Myofascial Therapy or Myofascial release is great modality for when pain is involved.

                              Why are you like speaking like that?

                              I know massage is important - a relative of mine is a massage therapist and i know why sports teams have massage therapists.
