For 12 years I've been cracking my knuckles. I'm 21. Along the way, at various intervals, I've added thumbs, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, upper and lower spine, hips, knees, ankles, toes, and something in the middle of my feet. I've suffered socially in consequence, as my chronic cracking is not so subtle. I do it constantly. Seems the gases between my joints don't take 20+ minutes to "refuel." Are you done yet? is the question of every day. I am greatly pressured to kick the crack habit by my friends and family and various unwritten social norms. My name is Rachael. And that is my introduction. Am I in the right place?
