personally don't find it pleasurable at all. About the only time it is if it does it on accident and then there is the momentary pain followed by release of pressure from the joint that was locking up. Which is usually when it goes from clicking to popping.

Whether due to swelling which is very common with mine, or hypermobility causing it to shift and get stuck.
