I often go to floatation therapy and spend about an hour in an isolation tank, due to the water being very bouyant you have no pull on any part of your body, when I got out I bent down and my whole back clicked, it must of been every vertabrae.

I vehemently recommend an isolation tank, they are truly relaxing.
90% of brain activity is taken up by balancing and co ordinating the body. When is the tank, this is not used which allows for high levels of relaxation.

Just last week someone was telling me about a sensory deprivation tank. Sounds like sort of the same thing? I've noticed that if my muscles are tensed up they won't pop. I have to relax. I suspect the reason why I always crack when I wake up is because I've spent an extended amount of time completely relaxed. I would like to try the relaxation tank sometime. I don't even know where you would go to do something like that.

An isolation tank?

Where are they, how much do they cost, and some more info please.

Most amazing crack was actually the most devastating. Tenth-grade social studies class. I interlocked my hands behind my head with my elbows extended outwards (in the typical reclining pose). My buddy behind me grabbed both elbows and pulled, just breaking balls. My chest, sternum, clavicle and shoulders all cracked and it left me breathless and with a headache for hours afterwards. Memorable, but nothing I'd want to repeat.

It did. Another great one I remember is right at the end of the healing period for a broken forearm. I was still in the cast, which stopped just below the elbow (I requested this for easier movement). Anyways, the day before the cast came off, my elbow was killing me, just begging for a crack after being treated gingerly for four weeks. Well I quickly extended my arm in a kind of outward flinging motion and the stiff joint, coupled with the added weight of the cast, let out the most magnificent and satisfying crack ever, without any of the pain of the above mentioned assisted-crack.

Just a few days ago triggered a massive crack in my left middle neck in the middle of the night. One of those instances where you wake up with a stiff neck and just have to try and crack it. Well I succeeded beyond my wildest dreams - I just gave my head a "standard pull" with one hand (which doesn't normally yield as intense cracks as the two-handed twist - but there must have been a really stiff joint because what resulted was the loudest neck crack ever. Even allowing for the magnification factor of the neck being close to the eardrum it sounded as loud as one of my elbow cracks, and those are the loudest cracks my poor abused body can make. I was so shocked I instinctively twitched my toes just to make sure they were still functioning. Scary but awesome.

Pulled off another real good one a couple weeks ago. This was one of the wake up with a need to crack scenarios and still lying down, I reached behind my head with my right hand, grabbed the hair above my left ear and just pulled around and to the right. BANG!! It was the very lowest neck joint, right where your neck meets your shoulder. The deepest loudest solid noise and I swear I could feel blood streaming up my neck as though a blood vessel had been opened up or something.
