This is a theory I've come up with.

I believe that the way our toes crack may perhaps be linked to the way we walk, for example if we put more pressure on our left foot then the toes on that will click more, and vice versa.

So, when you guys/girls walk, do you have even balance on each foot or do you tend to put more pressure on one side?
Thanks.

Yes - he had a problem when he was younger.

However he is a ba5tard so it is alright.

I think I walk pretty normally, balanced on both sides. My toes don't involuntarily crack. I have to do it, and I don't have major urges to crack in that area, so I don't do it often.

My friend's five year old son walks on his tiptoes all the time. She's constantly reminding him to walk on his feet. It's weird, and I don't know how it's comfortable.

Maybe they are used to it so it feels normal?

Or there is a problem with the heel etc?

I guess it all goes back to how cavemen walked, and what injuries they picked up and how they adapted - in a way you could link this to my old "survival of the fittest" thread lol

Yeh the thread no-one understood Confused

Or those cavemen could have died out due to the process of natural selection.

I wouldn't be surprised if the theory has a basis in fact. I do walk on my toes a lot, because of mid-foot problems. By paying attention, maybe I'll notice if my toes need to be cracked more on days when I'm on my feet much.
