Anybody else here love to read?

My favourite authors are:

Chris Ryan: His fictional adult books about the SAS and missions are enthralling

Anthony Horowitz: His alex rider spy novels are well written and always have twists and turns

Robert Muchamore: His books about young orphans usually who are spies are amazing as well.

J.K.Rowling: Harry Potter Series need no description!

Christopher Paolini: The Inheritance Series is amazing, with many turns - just don't let anyone tell you what happens in Eldest! IT WILL RUIN IT! I assure you!

Anybody else care to mention theirs?

David Sedaris
The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test
Michel Faber
Pearl S. Buck
Barbara Kingsolver
Kurt Vonnegut
C.S. Lewis
for my chick lit fix: Diana Gabaldon's Outlander

I like Pat Conroy's novels and if you want to learn something check out anything by the late Neil Postman.

I've added all 3 of those of my incredibly long list of books to read. I add books faster than I can read them.

I've read the Dalai Llama's "The Art of Happiness". It's life changing, and I believe very accessible to most Westerners.

Another good one is Thich Nhat Hanh's "Living Buddha, Living Christ". It's an interesting look at how Buddhism and Christianity complement each other. It's very thought provoking for a person like myself who was taught a strict fundamentalist view of Christianity, and who doesn't want to throw out her traditions, but rather, expand upon them.

Well depends.

I haven't read all of his kind of auto biography called The One That Got Away but of what i have read, it is very good.

Greed
The Hitlist (Read like half...often ready bits of books and forget... and has a lot of sex scenes lol)
The Watchman
Ultimate Weapon
