I'm surprised no-one has posted about cracking shoulders yet! When I do it it makes this really really loud pop(almost a POW if I haven't done it for a long time) and I can repeat it again within five minutes. I stick my arms straight out in front of my body, makes loose fists, lower them to about level with my belly button, then rotate my arms. Crack, snap, pop... Smile

Very Happy I agree with you. Popping shoulders is the best. I can crack them many times a day and I love it! It's the loudest of all my cracks. People always give me an "Ugh!" look or say, "Doesn't that hurt?!" I get pleasure from it and don't see why I have to stop. The way I do it is by sticking my elbow out and forward just a bit, then thrusting it back as if elbowing someone behind me. Morning pops are generally the loudest.

Shoulder is absolute favorite for me, especially when combined with the neck!!

Here's how I do it:

1. Sit or stand with your back and neck in a very straight alignment (think of a soldier standing at attention).

2. Rotate both arms down and back and bring your hand behind your head as if you are being patted down by the fuzz.

3. Press right palm against head and press your head against it. At this point I get a super loud pop in my shoulder and 3-4 in my neck.

4. Press left palm agaisnt head and press your head against it. I get a small shoulder pop and 1-2 more neck cracks!

Once in awhile the sternum will go too, I did this in a meeting once and people thought it was insane!!

Wow. For the first time I seem unique here Very Happy I pop out my shoulder at will, just by rotating it any number of different ways. I can just lift it to the side and then pull it towards the front of me, even while sitting down, and hear it pop. I can have it bent and just rotate it in front of me. I can even just rotate it around without seemingly moving anything else and make it pop/crack. Shoulders are definitely the most awesome joints Very Happy

Well, I do it a little differently, I guess. I simply raise my arms to a side (usually the right arm risen at 90 degress while the left arm clenches it at an angle) and then I move the entire combination (of the two arms) over my head to the left. That delivers quite a satisfying crack, which eases out much of the stress in the neck region.

I am trying to avoid cracking my neck, and cracking the shoulders seems to be a safer option anyday!
